Our Studio Programs are a natural extension of our curriculum, providing opportunities to extend the student’s knowledge in several areas. As such, all studios will support the mission and blueprint of our school. All of our Studios are also open to non-Lakeland students. The current Studios and associated costs are outlined in the Lakeland Manual or available through the Lakeland Office. Examples of current studios are: Horsemanship, Taekwondo Martial Arts, Archery, Golf, Artist 101, and Creative Expressions. All Lakeland studio instructors are experienced leaders in their field. If you have suggestions about additional classes or leaders, please contact us at 972/636-3777 or lakeland.office@gmail.com.
At Lakeland, field trips are used to expand the student’s horizon beyond the classroom environment. Many of our field trips expand both our appreciation for the fine arts and our historic perspective. The following are just some of the places we have visited. If parents have an idea or suggestion for a field trip, please contact us at lakeland.office@gmail.com or 972/636-3777.

Lakeland students routinely enjoy nature field trips on our 70 acre campus as part of science and art.
We seek to show and teach our students that the freedom and education they receive here come with the responsibility to help others both in the community and those less fortunate but no less deserving. To show them that the responsibility to change the world for the better lies with all of us and that service needs to be an accepted part of everyone’s life, we have established a community service program that includes the following:
* Cupid's Corner Valentine Shop - All proceeds went to the Rockwall County Meals on Wheels program. * Children’s Orphanage Christmas Project - To bring that special holiday joy to those less fortunate, Lakeland Adacemy “adopted” children at a local orphanage. Lakeland students made stockings for the children and filled them with many needed and wanted items. * Cookies for Seniors! Lakeland students made cookies for a local senior citizens center. The students prepared and wrapped all the cookies to be given out during the holidays. * Toys for Tots – Lakeland has participated in the Toys for Tots project in conjunction with the Union Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
* We Care & Send a Plant Program - All the Students hand decorated pots and planted all varieties of flowers and sent them to the residents of the Rockwall Nursing Home.
